So i bought a chromed set of shifter clusters and rear peg mounts for my 02, they are all beautifull. Pegs went on just fine, the shifters are proveing quite diffacult to put on tho. What im consirned about is the rear break assembly. I got everything switched and ready to bolt to the frame, when i noticed the new break assembly would not fit flush to the stock mounts, like there was 3/4 in gap!! I was like wtf!!! Looked it over and noticed that my new lever had a dog leg bend in it towrds the rear of the lever. Checked my stock lever and it was straight north/south shape. So this newly shapen lever is causing the entire assembly not to mount up correctly to the stock mounting holes. Looked for a chrome lever to replace it on e-bay but did not find one for my older f4i model. I looks as if every f4i 2004 on up has this new break lever desighn, but im only guessing. When i bought the parts it was mentioned it would fit all year f4i's so naturally i was worry free. What can i do guys?

 

send them back? get a new bike? my brake lever on my 06 is straight with a little right arc, much like my peeschiii.

OK, how about some free advice, don't **** your money away on chromed nonsense, save it for hookers and booze.

 

well i have a fiance so hookers would be a bad thing, plus i like my dick to stay on my body insted of it rotting off. and booze, thats all fine a dandy but i get mean when i drink so i dn't do it al lthat much. So chromed nonsense was the way to go!
