Default High running temp

My 2001 f4i has been running in and around from 200- about 220 degrees is this somewhat normal? It never use to run this high but i figured with this heat it would be a little high. Is there any tips or anything to help it run cooler?

That's barely enough to turn the radiator fan on.

Is it running that hot while moving?

This time of year (hot), I see very quick temp fluctuation, i.e. moving above 40 mph keeps mine around 175 but stopping for any length of time or even slowing down to 30 or under, the temp rises very quickly into the 200-220 range...
