I run at 88 while driving and can head as high as over 100 while idleing. I dont remember exactly what temperature the fans kick on as I just pulled the bike back out today and its not warm enough to get the bike that hot. I think it was around 109 or so. All in celcius ofcourse.

These engines are Aluminum so be aware that they will generate heat and dissapate heat very quickly.

F4i Fans kick on in the mid 220's. I normally see mine come on right about 223. Bear in mind though that you can be running around during the summer and the bike might be running 150 and then you stop at a stop light and it runs to 220 fairly quickly.

No problem. A lot of ppl have posted on here concerned with the high temperatures but those temps are perfectly normal.

223 is the official temp for the 05's, and I believe all f4i's. Mine's gone as high as 234, and then I just shut my bike off at the light, that's an easy fix. But mine stays right around 180. +/- a couple.

Mine usually sits at a constant 177 while on the move...gets to about 210 or 225 at lights. My fan rarely kicks in, but then again I live in WI.

alright well mine will probably be the same as yours due to the fact that I also live in wi. So what part of wi are you from?

Default Normal temps

Its 93f here right now and while moving with no1 in front of me it's at 177 to 180 if I stop it jumps fast . If there a car in front of me I can see up to 190 and up a few but doesn't go much higher. Is this normal? I have done the temp switch for the fan to come on at 212
