Is it normal for the temps to get so high so quick? If I go for a ride, hit a couple stop lights, I notice the temp gets up way into the two hundreds 215 220. If I get going the temp will slowly come back down. In traffic the thing really cooks. 03 954rr The shop says its set up to run lean but i dont know. Anybody else running hot?

 

Mine runs around 200 all the time.

177---to 180 cruisin at speed-----in town traffic im in the 210- 218 range---

 

same here. warm summer nights with the group down main.. 205 or so average ... depending on how much traffic and lights and such
