I guess so, but they were both from the same company. The same company I suggested to this guy, from ebay, to begin with. And for $60 shipped for a great HID kit, who really cares if they are not slim ballasts?

I prefer the lower draw of the digital ballasts personally. I know that even withother aftermarket lighting I will never have issues. The digital slim kit I get is on sale for $60 right now as well so for the money I would rather have them.

Nope never had any issues. You would be more likely to have issues with the larger ballasts with their increased draw than the slim digitals. The only issues I know of people having with the slims are the fact they pull half the power that halogens do so certain luxury cars throwa check engine light or similar because it thinks one of the headlightsis out.

Pretty much all HIDs typically draw less power when on, but more power on ignition (takes a lot of voltage to light that arc).

Yeah any quality HID is better than halogen in my opinion just giving my .02. I like your bike by the way, I always wanted a white one but could never find one that wasntbeat to hell.

Very true, and I am just assuming, but I imagine since the smaller ballasts are more efficient they use less power in all conditions. I may be wrong but I cant find any literature on the instantaneous draw on ignition.
