Don't forget to change the headlight fuse. The stock 10A just can't handle the draw from the ballasts and it'll blow the instant you turn the high beams on
I didn't....doesn't sound like a good idea to me to just throw a bigger fuse in something not made to draw more than 10 amps.... Mine has been on since April or May and I haven't blown any fuses.

If you do have an issue with the fuse blowing it would probably be a better idea to install a couple relays to draw directly from your battery for either light so you don't burn anything up.

here is what i did

https://cbrforum.com/m_348346/tm.htm

my fuse blows if i have the highs on when i turn on the bike key, if i let the lows warm up then switch to highs (about 1 minute which is less than i let the bike warm up to 130 degrees anyways) then i have no problems. just make sure its on low before you turn the key and always have a spare fuse incase and keep a 10mm screwdriver handle socket to get under the seat...

These are McCulloch's 6000K. Slight hint of blue compared to others

My buddy bought a Triumph 675 a little while back and the first thing he did was put some spare HID's on it. They look great and were cheaper than normal price

Hes from Calli and hes Asian so hes got the hook up.

Just a note on the silverstars buring out etc, i remember my old GTI i had changed just bulbs to silverstars , def a brighter bulb but as mentioned they dont seem to last very long? burns @ a hotter temp is my guess, filiment cant handle this over time and burns out? im not a night rider lol, so as much as id like HID's ill prob just opt for the silverstars or comparable bulb replacment. If i find they start burning out every few months, i may just bite the bullet and get some HID's.
