Help on swapping grips?
The throttle grip connects to 2 throttle cables, push-pull. It's pretty straight forward, just be carefull when putting the new one on that you don't break the plastic when trying to reconnect the cables... i did it once... not the best pic but if you haven't taken off a throttle grip this is what it is.

Cool, big help. So just rip the old grips right off? Do you need any hair spray or anything to put the new ones on? Like I said, I've done bmx bikes a million times but never a motorcycle.
nah the rubber grip is glued to the throttle tube.. you have to open up your starter box there and disconnect the cables. Once the throttle cables are off and bar ends are off it will slide off the handlebar easily. New one's go on the opposite of how you remove.
i had to replace the left grip recently, and coming from bmx bikes as well, i tried to install it using hairspray. however it seemed like it would never dry and i could just sit there and spin the grip around on the clipon. then i took it off, wiped the hairspray off, and just slid it back on. it doesnt move now. hope that helps!

I do the same exact thing, except I splash more alcohol in me than on the the handle bars.
