Default Help - New CBR Owner

Hi. I just bought an 04 F4i yesterday and I LOVE IT!!!!! I just stepped up from a Suzuki 500 - and life is great on the CBR. One question though (I didn't get an owners manual yet)... how does the fuel reserve work on this bike? Do i get an indicator on the dash? I haven't been able to locate a lever to switch if the bike starts sputtering. Any help would be much appreciated before i take off on another ride.

your bike is fuel injected, it does not have a reserve lever like a carburated bike does. your fuel reserve is automatic ,there is an indicator on the dash that shows that you are running on reserve....

Yeah, there's 4 bars that will display on the left hand side of the LCD screen. The bars will flash one by one the lower you get. When you get to 2 or 3 bars, it's time to find a gas station pretty quick. I believe the bars light when you get to .90 gallons.

Look for the reserve bars to come on somewhere between 120 to 140 miles on the tank.
