Default Help with exhaust situation

Ok all, i got a used scorpion exhaust from a guy because it was damaged. So i cut it down into a shorty pipe. Only problem came about when i went to mount it on the bike the mid pipe was for a banana seat f4i and not a split seat so the pipe dosnt reach the mount. Now i could make an extension to the mount because its about 3 inches away or i could get a new mid pipe made at a shop to where it would bring it up to the old mount or try to do something to make it into a short pipe like an r6 by cutting the current mid pipe and having the end flared out to fit. Whats everyones opinions on this? attached below is a pic of how it looks now.

I think i would try to find a mid-pipe that will bring it up closer or even take it to a shop to get it bent. +1 on the shorty though =)

well if ur looking for a cheap fix go buy some aluminum stripping... and make a custom wrap that goes around your exhaust and bolts and have the back side continue to go up to the hanger... so it would look like the letter J but except go all the way around the pipe... ha.. if that makes sense...

so after i made this post i went out and fliped the midpipe around and it solved the problem, just had to run all around the city trying to get a new clamp for the bottom of the midpipe and headers cuz the one i had was to big. But everything is good now and it looks nice, attached if the pic of what it looks like now, ill up load a video later with the sound although its from my phone so its not the best. It has a nice deep sound to it. Best 30 bucks ive ever spent lol
