Hey guys. My bro owns an 05 red F4i. He needs to know the torque specs of both the front and rear wheels, PLEASE. He gets a new tire on monday and it would be nice to have an idea before we tear sh** apart.


also, I visited stephygee.com and I didnt see a manual for the 04-06... what all is different? is it the same specs, other than the banana seat, as the 01-03?

NO ONE knows the torque specs for the axle nuts front and back? Is there a lot of wheels falling off out there or what?

I can give you the torque specs for a 2001-2003 model. But they COULD be different...

 

yeah, thats what im afraid of lol... i can d-load the whole shop manual for the 01-03, but im not exactly what all went different. I know there were some body changes, but did they stick with the same wheels, swingarm, forks etc? if they did, than I should be able to use the 01-03 specs as a guide at least... i ono... hopefully we can get somethin figured out. I might have to go through his manual myself.

Blind:

Front 59Nm or 43 lb/ft 22 hex wrench
Rear 93 Nm or 69 lb/ft 24 hex wrench (nut) + 22 hex wrench (bolt)
