My headlight on my Honda 600F4i (04) stopped working. With some help I fixed it myself. So I hope I cane help somebody else with the same problem. Both headlights stop working. Fuse = Ok, Bulbs=Ok, Headlight relay = Ok. Then someone told me that when you start you motor that the head light turns off so allpower goes to the starter. So I took apart the starter side grip and I found a lose wire. After resoldering it back in place, everything works ok now. Hope this helps somebody else...

 

take apart the little box on your right clip on and check for the sodering on the wires, thats the only thing that would really mess em up

 

this just happened to me. i was on my way to work and headlights working fine. stopped got gas and got back on the freeway and noticed my high beam indicator was off and both headlights off but everything else working fine. on my lunch break i checked the fuses which were good. when i got home in the morning i took apart the starter switch and sure enough one of the little wires had came loose. now i just need to solder it back on.

 

yup, same exact problem for my 04 as well

 

Maybe you 04 guys need to replace your starter switch for an 02 switch

 

mine is an 02.

 

Had the same issue with my 06 about a month ago. Threw some new solder on it and back to cruising with headlights
