Default need help headlight not working

Ok just got a f4 today went to pick it up and everything worked good but battery is junk so he started it with a battery charger , so got it home in the garage went to start it and the headlight wont work . So I checked the fuses and not one was blown so checked the buld .. bulb was good but changed it anyways . So I jumped it off my truck and still no headlight . But the horn signals, gauge light are all working fine . So my question is whats wrong with the headlight please help dont know what to look for. Oh and I replaced the battery and on full charge the battery goes dead after a few rides around the block any info would help!!!

Have you tried a multimeter on the bulb connector ? - are you getting 12v with the light switch and ignition on ?

You need to check the connections at the bulb with a multimeter as you may have split wire.
