The previous owner did really poor prep work and got quite a bit of overspray on the headlights (among other things). Given how long it's been there, I don't think I'd be able to get it off (maybe one of those headlight cleaners to 'defog' them?), if not, is the lens sold seperately or would I have to buy a whole new headlight assembly?

 

I think you'll have to buy an entire assembly. I scoured ebay, google, ronayers and bike bandit and didn't see just the lens for sale anywhere. Unless someone on here has one they're willing to part with. Check the forum's classified section.

 

You dont need to buy a new headlight just wet sand it with a very fine grit sandpaper and then polish it and it should come up like brand new

 

That's what I was afraid of. Seems weird that nobody makes a replacement lens.
