Default headlight cutoff switch

Looks like I will need to buy a right starter housing. The wires won't seem to stay soldered. While I am searching is it possible to bypass the headlight cutoff switch? If so what color wires would I connect. Just looking to get the fuel pump and headlights working again. Obviously when I can afford the housing I will replace it so it all is working as it should,

Will jumping this switch cause any issues with the standard starting of the bike, Bike is an 02 F4I and is a quick starter.

Thanks,

I don't know the answer to that question. I had the same problem with my 03 F4i and just replaced it, I think new oem was maybe 80 bucks and took me 30mins to replace it. But I am a firm believer in leaving it the way it was designed, even though it seems they do break from time to time.
