Yes, was riding, got a nail in a brand new rear dunlop 208. Air leaked out slow, lucky there were about 5 gas stations around. Bought a plug kit, plugged it, and got the free air. Rode that tire for 7000 more miles until I got a new qualifier.

Well i hope this has nothing to do with this post, but i can add another flat tire to my total. Rding home last night and was going pretty fast , slowed down for a turn and then noticed the bike didn't turn in right. Luckily i was really close to my house so i just slowly went back to the house and found the tire was flat. I found the hole and it looked like something just ripped the rubber. But at least now i get a new set of rubbers.

I had a puncture in the rear from a piece of metal. Didn't go completely flat but could certainly tell it was going down. Got down to 10 psi or so by the time I aired it back up and soon replaced it.

I wonder about a front going down. I've had that happen at about 30mph on a mountain bike on pavement...it was nearly impossible to get the thing to turn. Makes me think about the effect of losing a front on a motorcycle at higher speeds. Anyone experience this?

You wanna see some crazy ****....found this nail in my gixxers tire a few days ago...this is exactly why you should inspect your tires everytime before you ride....my tire wasnt even leaking at all.....just was cleaning it one day and found this...

HELL YEAH! Thought it was par 4 the course but sounds like I got all the ones you all avoided. First was 14 yrs old riding XR200R with chikee on back doin bout 80km(55mph?), rough pavement on downhill 120 deg. right, spot pothole hit throttle to clear it and slapped the rear rim square into it. Shock took most of hit and we wriggled our way to a stop about 100yds down the hill with limited sweat involved. Blew a few on 91 f2 , had plugged "profesionally" but a fold of rubber is called a 'patch' cuz it sure as **** aint the cure. Had a f r tire plug go in my 4runner on I 5 doin 95mph in the far left lane with tandem fuel truck beside me ...no fun. barely hung on to get to shoulder unscathed. Never again and wouldnt want bike tire instant blowout. On a long haul I carry a can of puncture seal. Ive put more trust in that **** than I shoul've (ie:kneedraggin) at times but would have to say -- never go cheap on tires, they allow us to do what we do! And try to match your sets...ideally, do one, do both. Depends on wear amount when in the real world though. Here's to keepin 'em all rubber side down.

I got my first flat at 130mph and the stock Dunlops held together like nothing happened. In fact I didn't even know it went down until I stopped. The next one was slowly leaking as it sat in the garage and the screw was still in it. Sold me on Dunlops forever for how they help up.

Brand new maxxis tires and they didn't change the valve stems so the rear leaked slowly... took it back to the guy who I bought the tires from and they changed the valve stem and re balanced it for free ( it was a friends shop and he had told me that he had just had a meeting with his guys and this was mentioned). I would guess that the tires got as low as 5 psi... BTW it was kinda cool that it "completely" removed the chicken strips I check pressure from time to time. And I did feel the squish when the tire was low
