Default Handle bar weight change

I cracked my left handlebar weight some time back in a low-side. Today I though I'll replace it, but the previous owner has put on racing grips and glued them on I guess gluing is recommended procedure, but now I just cant get the grip off! I tried pulling hard and trying to break the strands of glue that I could see with a mini screw driver... but the whole length of the grip seems to be glued on...

How do I get it off ?! Any chemical solutions?

Default RE: Handle bar weight change

I had to use a razor blade to cut my factory ones off. Then my buddy put the aftermarket ones on backwards with no glue, and it took me 2 hours to get them back off with wd40. You may just want to cut them off and pick up another pair for $20.
