Well i got the LED bulbs the other day but unfortunatly they are the wrong bulbs. At the time i bought them the website said that they would work for the CBR's and me being a dumbass didnt go check to see if they would fit. Well our bikes use a wedge type bulb, and well im quite positive that they wont work. Does anyone know of someone that makes a wedge type LED bulb? i went up to autozone today to see if they had something but couldnt find anything. thanks guys

the 3157's that they gave you will still work

what i'm pretty sure you are noticing that they don't really fit into the socket. but all you have to do is trim the plastic down on the sides of the bulb and then it will fit. thats how i got the spinning led bulbs to fit in my housing. they flash continuously when you apply the brake. its a pretty tight squeee to get the bulb into the taillight housing but it fits

oh yea APC (hides and runs away) makes some led bulbs that are available from walmart

 

I need a new tail light bulb. What is the advantage of LED bulbs over stock?

 

do you know what size the bulb is? im assumig its like a 194 or 168 since you said wedge shaped. try http://autolumination.com/194.htm and scroll down and they have all types and colors. i bought a bunch from there for my car and they are awesome.

 

yeah its a pita from what I remember to get the bulbs in there. I remember trimming down the plastic to get it to work
auto zone had them when I was working on my bike way back when, they should be able to order them anyway
