Got an '05 F4i that I want to put new brighter bulbs in. What's the difference between H4 and H7 and which ones do I need? I read many postings about lights and I've hit information overload. [sm=feedback.gif]

h7 i believ

go with hid's 6000k instead of "brighter bulbs" but its up too you.
hid's will last longer

 

HIDs are awesome, I have 10,000K HIDs.

 

you need h7 bulbs

 

how hard is it to swap the bulbs in and out?

I called five Boston-area Honda dealers about this. Three told me H7 and two said H4. [sm=wtf.gif]

 

The H4 and H7 difference is the prongs on the bulb itself. They are not that hard to change. You can do it without taking the front fairing off, but I took mine off, cuz the clip that holds in the bulb was tricky to get back on with the fairing mounted to the bike.
