well recently i just got into doing wheelies. not sure if this is related to what happened or not, but i feel it does.

my 02 f4i hasnt had any problems in the past two years that i've owned it. the other day, out of no where, the red warning light turned on and stays solid while the oil light and reserve light flashes? what does this mean, low oil pressure?

there's plenty of oil in it. did an oil change back in april and havent had an issue til now. just in case, i put the last half a quart into the tank just to see. still didnt fix the problem. what else can i do? i dont wanna ride with the warnings on, but i love riding so i need her back up and running properly asap

o and the reserve light will go all the way down to nothing sometimes, and other times it'll get half way and then both the warning light and the oil light turn off completely. until i pull up another wheelie, then its right back to being on.

 

figured it out. was a wiring issue

 

awhile a go i was reading on the stunforums that people with f4is would fill their bike with more oil than the recommended level.

 

yeah i had an extra quart around, so i decided to put it in. figured it wouldnt hurt it, and i also heard they put up to a full extra quart in their pans. i'm considering selling my bike for a fully set up stunt bike. i'm really enjoying being on one wheel lol
