Stator is easy, pull the bolts surrounding the cover. Pull the 4 bolts holding the actual stator into the cover and discard old cracked cover. Reinstall the stator into new cover, make sure and plug in the stator once it's in the new cover. Put a small amout of RVT gasket seal around the edge of the new cover and rebolt. Done. This job took me about 40 minutes literaly and was super easy to do.

You'll just need a small socket set in metric. Something that has at least a 6mm through 10mm. I got my cover brand new from an Ebay store and if I remember right it was 40 bucks or so, maybe 55 with shipping.

i think that guy was gonna send him the left mirror lol but shoot a stator cover would be good to get too. i can get u a used stator cover, oem for fairly cheap, i got a buddy partin out 2 engines. pm me and i can send u his number, or his screen name is jonld on here. but dude, quit trying to start the bike if its leaking oil. it will be fine just sitting, itll start again dont worry. but if u keeo trying bc its prolly about out of oil or extremely low you can really mess it up.
