Battery Tender is a brand name (like Ajax, Clorox, Xerox) for a battery charger that goes to a floating voltage after charging. It has a pigtail that can be permanently installed on the vehicle.

i went to pepboys and got one that charges small batteries like jetskis, bikes and such for 30 bucks and if my battery ever dies it charges it quickly. best 30 ive spent so far and a hell of alot cheaper than the battery tender one. mine also will maintain the battery over winter

Next payday, I'm getting one. I'm in need of a new battery anyways. I've got the same battery that come in the bike. I'm sick and tired of push starting it.[:@]

How did you drain it? I have a battery tender too, but I'm just not sure when I should throw the battery on it. I want this gel battery to last long. I ride the bike almost everyday, but I won't go more than 2 days without riding.
