I posted earlier with the title Transmission Problems, but Ive narrowed the problem.

After looking at the manual I am 95% sure the gearshift spindel is bent/broken or the spring is loose/broken. The gearshift gets stuck up when I try to upshift and stuck down when I try to downshift it doesn't spring back. But I can manually spring it back to put it in another gear after a few tries.

I am wondering if anyone else has had similar problems and can relate. I don't want to tear it apart just yet. Since I have never removed a clutch from a bike. But I pick up on things easily(and have a manual)
