I figured that one of you F4i guys would help a brother out...

On my 929, which is probably the same, the speed sensor is in the top of the transmission. Follow the harness up to the bundle of connectors. It's a black, 3 pin connector in there somewhere. There may be more than one 3 pin in there, so make sure it's the one you're looking for.

Referencing the manual, like demon said its a black 3 pin connector. You should have a black, green, and pink wire. The Honda manual calls for removal of the throttle body to access it, I can't say from experience if this is necessary or not but that's what its saying to do. Maybe someone that has dealt with this connector can say yay or nay on throttle body removal.

It's above the transmission behind the cylinders just where it's supposed to be, it's just hard to find. I swear it took me an hour to find mine when I bought a speedoDRD to correct the speedometer after I changed my gearing. And they're are right it's a 3 pin black connector it's the only one like it in there. I didn't remove anything to get to mine it just took a while. But then again I have tiny hands. Good luck.

Thanks for the info guys, I have the service book and I know where it was "supposed" to be. Just didnt have any luck finding it. I think I will burn off what fuel is left in the tank and try that method of lifting the tank out of the way with the strap so I can see down, not looking from the sides. Maybe that will help.

Thanks again guys
