I just want the indicator to let me know what gear I'm in. I'm not always counting gears and keeping track in my head. Not distracting - just another instrument. If I had a minimalist approach, I wouldn't need the tachometer cause I would be able to tell if it were time to shift by the sound of my engine.... or the speedomoter cause I could feel the wind and know how fast I was going.

I have considered it myself, my gearing in -1, +2, and I find myself searching for 7th all the time. nothing worse than pulling in the clutch, and not able to shift. always a little akward lurch.

actually they do work with hondas, and I have seen them WORKING on more then one f4i...

you can order them online and apparently you only have to solder one connection.

7th gear would be nice. Changing my sprocket, its like losing my 1st cuz I rap it out so quickly and shift up so much faster.

i just listen to revs so gears arent important to me, but a 6th indicator light would be cool, cause im always usure going onto the highway, and always try and click up more and im already in 6th, haha

I thought I was the only one constantly looking for 7th gear, even after two tries.... lol. The indicator would come in handy for me only when in 6th gear, or else I would normally listen through the revs to determine my gear needs.
