Default Gear Changes (sprockets)

So I know most people like the -1/+2 setup on the f4i but my question is, for a track bike, think a -1/+1 setup will be good?

I personally don't like my -1/+2. The kind of riding I do, I don't need that extra torque down low. I actually just got a stock RK chain and sprocket kit yesterday that I'll be installing this week.

I've heard quite a few people say that stock gearing is nice on the track because once you get going, if you need more torque just downshift, and then you have a higher top end.
