has anyone had the little hole that drains out water clog up... mine has some rust crap in it and was just wonder if anyone had this problem and what they did to fix it. thanx.

 

Never had the problem, i don't know how good you are with bikes but if you unbolt the gas tank and lift it you will see that the hose is only conected by a clip that releases pretty easy all you have to do is squeez it toghter and tug on it . just buy a new one at the hardware store ,or blow in it to see if air some threw.

 

yeah i was just going to try to stick a hanger or something through the hole and see if that unclogs it.. guess if it doesnt ill take the tank off.. havent had to much experience workin on the bike but if i get lost i have a few friends im sure know that there doing.

 

just use compressed air & blow through the vent hose from the bottom up...


open the tank cap & stick a rag over the fuel hole so the dirt doesnt go into the tank
