Screwdriver and hammer, i've done it at least 10 times. It will also be easier if you loosen all of the frame to motor mounts, this will allow the frame to expand outward and not squeeze the swingarm. You'll see how it all works when it comes apart. The long bolt doesn't actually hold the swingarm on.

 

Awesome; I'll be back at it tomorrow night with an engine jack too, should make the removal process easier.

I think I'm going with a satin or flat black for the frame and swingarm, as well as the pegs, rearsets, levers, engine covers, etc. She's going to be naked, so I'll just be painting the engine to match the frame, and do something cool to the bellypan I've ordered, and the tank and tail. I'm thinking a dark, gloss gunmetal as of now.
