That's a f4, the only real difference is fuel injection. Good price for a good bike.

I'm not sure about that. I thought the 1999-2000 F4 didn't have a passenger grab rail. In Europe, starting in 2001 they simultaneously sold the 600F Sport, which is similar to the 2001-2003 F4i sold in the US, and also the regular 600F, which looks like our 2004-2006 F4i, with the one-piece seat. The 600F and 600F Sport had slightly different final gear ratio, as well.

Easiest way to know for sure is to look for a choke on the left handlebar.

The bike in the pic is an american F4. The f4 and f4 sport in europe shared the same bodywork from the gas tank foward.

Good advice from Munson to check for a choke, this way you know if it's carbureted. Either way, it's worth finding out the VIN # of this bike and either checking online to see it's specs or, running it through a company that can check it's history.

Either way, it's still a pretty sweet bike.

The 1999 f4 def has a grab rail! I have that exact model. Also, it's def carbs.
