Fuel Vapor Smell
This 05 has fuel vapor smell from around the vehicle. When placed underneath a cover with a zipper. It's dangerous! Also, at idle it smells of fuel. I've disconnected the fuel tank: fuel hose, fuel return hose, fuel sender coupler, fuel pump coupler, fuel tank overflow hose, fuel tank breather hose. It's been windy outside unable to verify where the smell is coming from yet. The fuel cap has proper seal. The roll over valve is an aftermarket with the rubber seal inside deteriorating and debris inside of the valve however no smell of fuel. Next is the hose that routes to a t-line with two other hoses, and checking the air injection reed valves and solenoid. Any suggestions? The EVAP is to prevent gasoline fumes from leaking into the atmosphere. How do you check the EVAP canister? Is the best way to just smell around the hoses and components? Thanks ya'll.
