I am writing on behalf of my friends daughter who owns a 2002 CBR 600F4i. After returning to her bike after an event, her jacket was missing and her bike would not stay running. When you start the bike, it will start, but will stall as soon as you let go of the starter button. Turning on the key does not turn on fuel pump as I am told it should. Also, when key is on, headlight is very dim. Performed tests on fuel pump, bank sensor, relays etc.. all good. Any ideas?

 

Found the problem, it turns out there was a frayed wire in the instument cluster.
