I replaced the tank on my 2005 with a tank off a 2001, i put my old fuel pump in the tank, but it keep leaking around the seal. Anyone know why it would not fit on that tank? are the 2 years of the bikes have different fuel pumps?

 

Bike Bandit shows same fuel pump from '01 thru '05. Maybe a new gasket and some sealant would help.
