My 2001 600f4i was recently stolen from inside the garage and recovered after 5 days. Perp spray painted the bike to black and took parts out. Since it's personal I am planning to rebuild it.
Question: When I lift up the gas tank i saw one of the hose is disconnected (from the plastic connector (23)) and the hose is missing (42). Can anybody tell me where 42 hose connected with. txs stanley

 

That should be the air vent hose. It doesn't connect to anything. I believe it just dangles down with the overflow hose that connects to the tank right next to it.
