Default front brake resevoir

My mastercylinder/resevoir is leaking slowly, about a drop everytime I ride it. I need to fix it ASAP but do you need a whole new assembly or can you replace the internals? Can you buy a rebuild kit?

Unhappy HALP! Slow leak in front brake reservoir

Just bought a 2001 CBR600 f4i from a buddy who says the brake fluid was replaced during a full service tune up about 5 months ago but now it is slowly leaking every time I pull in the brake lever. It appears to be leaking out a pin that moves in and out at the joint connection of the lever. Do I need a whole new set up or is it a piece inside like some sort of gasket or something that can be replaced?

See if you can get a master cylinder rebuild kit. It's pretty simple to do.

You can rebuild to stop the leak.

If it's leaking from where you are saying it's leaking then chances are the seal on the master cylinder piston was put the wrong way(if it was rebuilt, usually a brake fluid change happens with a rebuild of master cylinder and caliper etc)
But if there was no rebuild then I would be surprised it's leaking from there. Have you checked the reservoir? In my case, I overfilled the reservoir and fuid seeped out of the two tiny wholes either side of it and ended up on my brake levers as well!
