Default 600rr Front brake resevoir on a F4i

Was just wondering if this mod has been done? I hate the look of our box resevoir and would like to change over to the cylinder style. Shouldn't be too hard AMIRITE?

I don't know if that would work???? Are the clear cylinder ones actually master cylinders?? If they are, shouldn't be a problem but if they aren't it wouldn't work unless you got a new master cylinder and put it somewhere...dunno tho'...that's an interesting mod if you do it....

^ +1. Don't understand why people want to do this "mod" Search the forums. I believe someone took a cylinder type off an R1/R6 a few months back and did a direct swap. Good luck.

Edit: Tahoe corrected me. It was off a GSXR, not an R1/R6

the radial style with the remote reservoir is supposed to improve braking feel, though many contest against it.

i did the swap with a gixxer 600/750 one...and braking feel IS much improved. you'll just need to get creative in mounting the resevoir.

alternately, someone did a swap of 03 600RR with 1000RR and couldn't tell the difference.
