Default friggin stones

on the hwy the other day a bouncing stone apparently fookin dented my oil filter on the end cap some (its not leaking oil). i just changed the oil out about 500 miles ago. i have another honda oem filter at the house. should i change the filter out? and can i do it without changing the oil?[:@] thanks

you have to do it REALLY FAST!! hahaha you can...it's the same cause the engine isn't on so all the oil is at the pan...so not more will come out than if you were changing your oil.

i would change it just in case anything inside the filter got busted and is now ready to go lurking into your motor!!

fresh filter put on. oil topped off. good to go. BTW, the old filter didn't look bad at all once i got it out into the daylight. probably didn't even need to change it.[sm=shades.gif]

I got hit in the knuckle with a stone once. Needless to say I bought gloves the very next day. Went out and spent $10 on some cheap cloth Coretech gloves and about 3-4 weeks ago I spent about $60 on some nice leather Joe Rocket ones. Now I feel like a RACER!

crazy cheap gear mang!

before i started to wear helmets, i got hit by a stone when i was riding...a semi-truck kicked that 5" diameter stone up and right into my forehead...needless to say...there is now more than 1 million pieces of that stone laying around somewhere...and now...all stones wear protection from tahoe.

got hit on the face shield a few week's ago at 70. years ago i use to go without one, man thats nuts. loose a eye or something.
