Default RE: frame sliders?

No dont get metal frame sliders. Get the sliders made from delrin material. You want something to absorb the impact, metal will not do that. Also, if the impact is hard enough, a metal sliders can damage your engine mount.

albothug969, what kind of sliders did you bought before? Maybe it was some cheap material that cause it to break into pieces. A good quality sliders will just grind down and wont break into pieces.

Metal sliders dig into pavement and flip your bike, exactly what they are supposed to keep from happening. Remember that sliders are FRAME sliders, not save your plastic sliders.

Hey Guys ...new here so of course I have a question .... I know the plastic ones will help with the impact .. but I have seen some that are plastic 1 inch tip with a metal base ... any ideas on this one ...seems like it might be the best of both worlds
