Question frame heat

I accidently put this in the F4 forum.

I've had my bike ('01 F4i) for about a month or so and the frame gets extremely hot after driving it for more than 15 minutes. The coolant/engine temp gauge tells me the bike is fine, never more than 210 F when stopped at a light. The fluid levels are correct. Is this heat common with this bike or is there something more to this?

yea its normal, mines always like that too. its just because of how close the frame is to the engine. what is your normal operating temp?

Not only is it normal but if your ever out riding on a night that turns out to be a bit chilly when you get to a stoplight put your hands on the frame just above the fairing and it feels SOO good.
