Default FI light/overheat

Ok, So i go out to ride about a 1/2 hour ago and I notice that my FI light is on and continues to stay on. I do not have a manual, but is blinks 1 time about every second (1.1,1.2,1.3 seconds maybe) and continues to do so. Just one steady flash every second continuosly (sp?) Any one have any ideas or know what code that is? Also, I rode the bike for about 10 minutes, in that time the bike reached a temp of 220 and when i shut the bike off the fan immediately turned on. Is that normal??? Thanks for any help.

I've heard that these bikes run hot and 220-225 is normal. I think the manual says if you hit 250 shut it off. So you're okay there.

ya I'm pretty sure the fan kicks on at 218. but don't worry about that it's normal, if you ask anyone on here their bikes have gotten up to 220 just sitting at a stop light on a hot day. nothing to worry about.
