This is my first time posting. I bought a 2001 f4i and then a month after it blew up and they say i bent a valve. At the time when i started hearing a ticking noise i pulled off and took it home in a truck. Three weeks later i got it back and have been testing it ever since. I was out last weekend and of course my friends wanted to race thier 600s with mine. The weird thing is that i killed all of them. One is a 2000 zx6r, another was a 2007 zx6r, and the third was a 2005 gsx600. All of them have power commanders, pipes, and air filters. I was just wandering if any other people are experiencing this and the only modd to my bike is a yoshi pipe.

 

with the f4i's the cam chain tensioner goes bad and makes a ticking noise i believe, so that could have been what your hearing... as far as how fast the bikes are.. i couldnt tell ya, the only f4i ive rode was my friends stunt bike ha

 

the f4i is one of the lightest power to weight ratio bikes made..... your friends might be rocking stuff with a little more weight..... (im talking about around a track btw not a straight away.)
