Default Some more fast(ish) fun!! :-)

This are the same S bends I did before but went a lot faster to show how quickly the bike responds to my steering input ..

Also notice the parked car I pass and how quickly the bike suddenly responds and picks up to speed on just a whiff of throttle as I get
passed the car :-)

Here is another fun road towards Corwen and the first of some decent twisty bits :-)

Once I get round the final bend I open the throttle in fifth gear and the bike just pulls up to silly speed in no time at all,
I must check the engine to make sure it doesn't say 1,000cc on the side ...lol

Nice ride, but I think I like the 10,000 RPM ride better. That lake looks like where you take a lot of your bike photo's. Very nice...

BTW
Congrats on winning the Bike of the Month...

thank you Bill, and ...yes, the lake is Llyn Brenig, it's very beautiful and so peaceful out here ... I often take the bike up here and get pictures by the lake, I have a certain spot where the boats are that is simply gorgeous ... when I go down to the lake and switch off the engine, the contrast is amazing as it's silent out here :-)

Yea, I figured that out about 3 minutes after posting. I had looked at your video on youtube by browsing the other videos you posted. I didn't realize you had put it up on the forum until later. I should be more thorough before asking questions. I like to look at Google Earth to get an idea of the areas you ride in. I couldn't find that lake for the life of me, but I wasn't looking that far W either. I did see what appears to be some kind of track E of Tarporley. Is that a public one or privately owned ?

Rod38um, given the 3.2 miles or so that you covered in about 3:30 that's doing about 58.3mph average. I'd say you're going just a little more than fastish on those back roads.
