Default Fairings

Hey guys,
I decided to go with factory fairings instead of that junk set from Hong Kong to fix where I dropped it. Thanks for all the help. I ordered some new stuff for x-mas (sprocket kit, black windscreen)...i'll post pics when all said and done. As for my next purchase, are power commander's really that good? I've heard some pretty good things. What kind of gains could I expect?

Thanks again!

You need a power commander if you are running an aftermarket exhaust.

After this week, i'll be running exhaust, air filter, and new sprocket kit. Why is the PCIII so important?

If you do just a slip-on, no you generally don't need a Power Commander but even on a stock bike a Power Commander can be beneficial. If you're doing a slip-on AND an aftermarket filter such as BMC or K&N, I would definitely recommend getting it tuned so that your bike runs the best that it can. The stock "computer" can only adjust itself to a certain percentage so you're best with the Power Commander.
