Default Fair Value?

Now that I have five motorcycles--sigh--I've got to downsize, so I'm selling my 2006 F4i to a colleague.

It has 20K, a new chain with 100 miles on it, fresh tires and is in good mechanical and cosmetic shape. Also has extras--a gas tank, track plastic, assorted parts.

Opinions on a fair value?

Thanks.

All depends where you live as I have seen in some states they can go for $3k and in some parts of Canada I have seen people asking near $7k.

In Oklahoma, you're looking at $4500 to maybe $5500, in good mechanical and
pristine plastics.

I'd say 4k maybe a tad less or more depending.

Thanks guys, very helpful. I was thinking around 4ish myself.

Hate to sell it. But I just got an R6 for the track and can't store five bikes. (Doesn't life get ridiculous sometimes?)

I love the F4i for the street.

$4k is more than fair. In excellent condition, prob close to 4500 in most places. If you sell to your friend/colleague, giving him the better price is good karma for you...especially if you're including the extras.

Good luck w/ your R6.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm really conflicted about selling it because it's the best street/sport touring machine I've ever owned.

I've been doing much more track riding recently and never wanted to dedicate the F4i just to that. The R6 I bought is a pure track machine; never been on the street. A former AMA/WERA ride.

Looking forward to riding it at Jennings next weekend.
