So after installing this I have had some issues with cct rattle. I'm not sure if I was supposed to loosen the cct before removing the clutch basket and reinstalling.

 

I did not touch my CCT when I put mine in, you have a manual one right? I would just readjust it and put some silicone glue on it to keep it from moving.

 

Only thing I had trouble with when installing the FP shift star was removing the basket with the scissor gears. Eventually I removed the basket with a bit of force and when I put it in I lined up them again. I have been adjusting my cct the same way I did it the first time but no luck. I still get rattle at 5k+ rpm

 

Yea it took me a bit to realise the proper way to put the basket back in. I had to walk away for 15 minutes I reread the steps a good 3 times before it clicked. Did you check that you installed everything correctly and that all the pieces were put in? Even IF your cam chain was stretched a bit by the install, your adjuster should be able to compensate. Sometimes you just need to take everything out and reinstall it, not sure if you already did that. Have you emailed mark at Factory Pro about it? He is super helpful.

 

I haven't emailed him about it. I think i'm just going to recheck my work tomorrow. Should only take a few hours.
