since your selling it in the spring anyway, ride it for the rest of the fall, then ride it all spring until it sells, that should give you alot of seat time.

then when it sells get yourself an f4i.

Ya i think that is what im gonna do. I really want one of those f4i's. There are a lot on craigslist and i think that they are a lot of bike for the amount of money spent.

yep, i got mine for 3k, and i couldn't be happier.

it's all good . i used to live in Alton, IL . cost of living always affects the prices of cars, bikes, etc. You may feel i got a bad deal, but it's comparatively the same if you consider the region you live in. CA has a high cost of living and things generally just cost more out here. However, the wages are usually adjusted to match, especially if you have a decent job with a good company. So, if I lived in St. Louis and did the same job, I'd probably earn 10k less. At the same time, things would cost less as well. So it all really evens out in the end right? lol

besides the bike has the mods on it that I wouldn't want to do myself, so I'm very happy with it

now just ride the sh-t out of her

and those are nice mods to have already and not have to put them on yourself like having to jett the bike and that kind of stuff

and I was kind of in a bad mood when i posted and right after i walked away from the pc i felt like a dick ...sorry

Honestly, when you are looking at the blast vs the ninja 250, you've kind of got it backwards. The Ninja 250 is a more powerful (in HP) bike with a higher top speed and quarter mile time. It is probably a bike that would 'grow' with your skill set more than the Blast.

I think it is all kind of a moot point anyway, as if you have a blast, ride it until you are ready to move on. But if someone had an ultimate goal of getting something like and F4i or RR, and they were going to buy either a ninja 250 or a blast, I'd recommend them the 250, as it will seem more natural going from a high-revving 250 to the F4i than from a low revving blast to the F4i.

You shouldn't have any problems, but after riding a blast for a while and getting used to the 6500 rpm redline, it might take you a while to discover that on something like the F4i, 6500 rpm is just about where the fun starts

Ya i see what you mean by the whole redline issue... That is one of the main reasons that i would like to get an f4i... From what i have seen (or heard), they make a pretty nice sound!!
