it has 5k, new tires, Yoshi exhaust, dynojet kit, rear seat cowl, fender eliminator kit, K&N filter, and shogun frame sliders. the seller is a really cool guy and even threw in a dust cover, the stock parts that he removed (exhaust & seat), and has even offered to walk me thru synching carbs when it's needed. got it for $3750.
Glad you're on 2 wheels and went the safe route. We'll prolly be seeing you back in 2 years with the newest RR

1.trottle response horrible
2.felt like i was riding a moped
3.riding while sitting staight up is weird(i like the attack position r f4i's have)
4.this was a brand new ex250 and it felt like at any moment it could fall apart

and my buddy bought his off show room florr not a mile on her for $3500 so at least in my area you got a bad deal ....sorry but true
Let the man have his bike. Not like you have to ride it

If you're wondering at all if the 250 is 'fast enough', it isnt....buy a Ninja 500. Awesome first bike, so easy to ride, plenty fast and sell it in a year and buy an F4i.

I honestly wouldn't recommend the f4i to start, just a lot of power on tap for a rookie. Start with a ninja 500 or any Vtwin for that matter, but the 250 is always too small.

250cc's has no business in the sportsbike realm imo. If you are looking at something that small to learn on get a rebel. Why not get something comfortable to learn on?

first of all.. beauty must be in the eyes of the beholder.. because to me the Ninja 500R is fugly.. the 650R is a much better looking bike on every level.. thank goodness they finally put the 500 out to pasture...

Second.. it's the 250 that is easy to sell.. people love them... they love to learn on them, race on then, and ride on them... like I said before.. I had a pregen and I did like it.. but my CBR is much better in so many ways...

third.... a rebel has a top speed of like 75 mph I think... at least teh Ninjette can do 105 or 110.. it can handle the highway without issues.... just revvin high...

again.. JMO

Didnt know 75 was too slow for the highway. My bad. I'll take comfort over a drag strip for a learning bike if I were starting from ground zero all over again.

It is when the thing is topped out.. doing 75 on a rebel is like doing 110 on a Ninjette.. it can.. but why push it?

Why do you have to be going 75? I only know of one state where the speed limit is 75 on the highway.

remember that when you get past by one on the mtns

And you cant ride a rebel like you can a ninja 250.

And thankfully it isnt up to you, a250 is very much a sportbike and more bike thna 99% of us can take to its limits.

Awww come on PG. Pretty sure a lot of these guys can take it past its limits...

Misjudge the entry speed on a mountain turn, over the guard rail and terminal velocity on the way down. Easy
