Wow So many diff. opinions I don't know what to do I have a list of the parts I need and after I get the total I will have to decide if I won't to do the conversion or just get a targa seat cowl

 

targa seat cowl is a nice way to go, i just ordered mine. rather throw 200 instead of about 600. but to each there own i like how comfortable the banana is and who knows mayb in the future i may go to the 01-03 conversion and say screw it and buy a 600rr instead

 

Ive never road an 600rr are the really that uncomfortable and does the 01-03 f4i feel like the rr?

 

the rr isnt that uncomfortable but u strecth the time out on riding it starts to become a lil more uncomfortable than the banana but thats my ***, others peoples ***'s are different lol

 

I sat on a new RR today, and found it much more comfortable than a split F4i seat. I had been hearing how uncomfortable RR seats were, so I was expecting it to be bad; I was pleasently surprised.

 

The split F4i is one of the worst Honda ever made.. right up there with the Rc-51 seat. The banana seat is so much better. Doesnt have the same gee whiz factor, but I really dont care.

 

Imho, just go with the targa, it's cheaper than getting a new tail, subframe, battery tray, etc. not tomention paint. Plus I think the targa looks good, not assleak as the split seat, but still looks good. Comfort wise I have sat on 01-03s but never riden one, vut just sitting on it I think the banana seat is more comfortable. I have gone on 2-3 hr rides several times, and have never been saddle sore. In the end though it is your decision so go with whatever you like better.

 

I think im gone go with the Targa cuz i love the way my seat feels now and dont wont to make a decision I would regret after its to late to go back.
