those red/sliver bikes definetely look sharper with the shadow...

The shadows were the very first mod I made to my bike and it certainly does help. You're right, those aren't that difficult to install. I put my rimstripes on this year and found that it was much more challenging however! My only recommendation to those who want to put the stripes on their rims - DO IT IN WARM WEATHER! I sat in the driveway on a 55 degree day and the tape wasn't as felixible as it should have been (for a good job). Needless to say it's not the greatest... but they still look pretty bad a$$.
