F4I mechanic PLS HELP
so leaving work to day i start to haul *** on the back street but, in first gear
i reach about 8k to 10k RPMs and my FI light turns on the bike shuts off and the exuast back fires so i turn the bike back on while movinig and it turns on no probblem but in any gear the bike shuts off if i past that RPM even in nutral so i take it easy all the way home in high gears low RPMs when i get home i checked to see if it was steal doing it and it was
SO PLEASE GIVE ME SOME IDEAS as to what it can be THANK YOU

Start engine and let it idle. If the "FI" malfunction indicator light blinks you have a stored malfunction.
Shut your bike off. In order to access malfunction remove your seat to gain access to your FI computer.
Next to the computer there is an unused 2 prong plug. Jump this connector with a wire.
Turn the ignition switch on. If light stays on with out blinking you have no stored faults.
If it blinks, keep count how many times it blinks.
1 blink = loose contacts on map sensor connector, Open or short circuit in map sensor wire, or a faulty map sensor.
2 blinks = Loose or poor contection of the map sensor vacuum hose or a faulty map sensor
7 blinks= loose or poor contact on ECT sensor, Open or short circuit in ECT sensor wire , Faulty ECT sensor
8 blinks = Loose or poor contact on TP sensor connector, Open or short circuit in TP sensor wire, or a faulty TP sensor
9 blinks Loose or poor contact on IAT sensor, Open or short circuit on IAT sensor wire or a Faulty IAT sensor
11 blinks= Loose or poor contact on Vehicle speed sensor connector, Open or short circuit in vehicle speed sensor connector, Faulty speed sensor
12 blinks Loose or poor contact on No 1. Injector, Open or short circuit on #1 injector. Bad #1 injector
13 blinks same as above for #2 injector
14 blinks same as above for #3 injector
15 blinks same as above for #4 injector
18 blinks Loose or poor contact on the ignition pulse generator, open or short circuit in ignition pulse generator, faulty ignition pulse generator
21 blinks= Faulty O2 sensor (california models only)
24 blinks = Faulty O2 Sensor heater (california models only)
33 blinks= Faulty E2-Prom in ECM (computer)
