ok i found it and now the bike is idling steady at 1700 warmed up. what about the smoke out of the throttle bodies?

I don't think it's anything to worry about, probably just unburnt fuel. If your maintenance is up to date and it's running good ride on.

Smoke or "gasses" will come out of the throttle blades of any engine that has just been shut off.
Hence the importance of your PCV system.
