F4i gauge install

Default F4i gauge install

hey. the other day i saw my gauge cluster rattling around i kinda grabbed it and shook it and it popped off. when i bought the bike it was a street fighter so i put the gauge on to the best of my ability. what is the proper way i can get the gauge installed properly. right now i threw a zip tie around it so i can still ride. please help if you can.

there are three screws that hold it on in the back. They mount to the fairing stay. If you are running your bike as a streetfighter then chances are you have no fairing stay. Therefor the only way to mount them is basically as you said, with a zip tie. You could fab up a bracket and drill it for the three screws to mount to. That's really about it. Streetfighters take a lot of fab work to make stuff work right.

no its not a street fighter. i do have the fairing stay. so the screws go straight into the back of the gauge?

there should be 3 little screw tabs on the back of the gauges. There really easy to spot, and that's where the screws go. There also is rubber garments that go on the fairing stay that the gauges rest in. Its pretty straight forward to figure out.
